The name Dust & Sage reflects my philosophy and style: the grounded, unpolished details of life (“dust”) paired with wisdom, beauty, and a touch of elegance (“sage”). It is about striking a balance between the raw and the refined, producing photographs that carry both authenticity and artistry.

I specialise in weddings, portraits, dance, and family photography, with an emphasis on genuine connection and understated beauty. My editing style leans toward earthy, muted tones – colours that feel warm, natural, and enduring. This approach ensures that your photographs are not only true to the moment, but also timeless in their presentation.

Dust & Sage Photography is proudly Brisbane-based, capturing love stories and portraits across the city, the coast, and the surrounding regions. While I call Brisbane home, my work has also taken me to the heart of rural New South Wales – photographing in places like Glen Innes, Tamworth, Inverell, and Armidale.

These experiences have shaped my style – blending the relaxed, country feel of open landscapes with the elegance and creativity of city life. Whether you’re planning a wedding in the city, a family session in the paddocks, or a portrait shoot somewhere in between, I bring the same care, creativity, and earthy storytelling to every setting.

​Alongside weddings and portraits, I also have a strong passion for both landscape and urban photography. From sweeping rural horizons and quiet country roads to the vibrant energy of city skylines, I find inspiration in the way different environments tell their own stories. Capturing landscapes allows me to preserve the stillness and raw beauty of nature, while urban photography lets me explore structure, rhythm, and the subtle poetry of everyday life. My work has been recognised in various photography competitions, reflecting both my technical skill and dedication to capturing meaningful moments. Notably, I have received first-place awards, been named Champion for Colour Enlargements, and earned Reserve Champion in Snapshot Images at the Glen Innes Show, a testament to my commitment to both creativity and precision.
